Earls Court Boutique Hotel – Illustrative Building Study

At the request of the planning officers, Farrells produced design studies (in conjunction with other architects) of some of the more contentious plots on the masterplan. I worked on the building that would replace the iconic facade of the existing Earls Court exhibition Centre – a plot that is heavily constrained by 4 District Line tunnels running beneath with limited basement, foundations and cores and thus internal arrangement. The proposal is for a Boutique Hotel with retail, restaurants and bars at ground level.
